T-Mobile has enabled users with compatible phones to use its Text to 911 through satellite service for free. Non-T-Mobile customers need an unlocked, satellite ready phone with eSIM capabilities to use the T-Satellite service. This service can be useful for locations in remote areas without nearby cell phone carrier towers.
