Firefox has configuration options settings to turn off and on, including images, videos and ML (Machine Learning). These configuration setting options are frequently added to and updated by Mozilla.
To make changes, type this into web address and press Enter: about:config
Click the “Accept the Risk and Continue” button when the "Proceed with Caution" warning appears.
Click the "Show All" link.
Turn images on or off by changing the "permissions.default.image" setting. A value of "1" allows all images to load, "2" blocks all images, and "3" blocks only third party images for a website.
Turn image animations on or off by changing the "image.animation_mode" setting. A value of "normal" allows animations to play over and over again, "none" prevents animated images from playing, and "once" plays the animation one time.
Turn off videos by searching for these keywords in the "Search preference name" field and disabling them: video, media, autoplay, MP4.
Turn off ML and telemetry by searching for these keywords in the "Search preference name" field and disabling them: telemetry, datareporting, smart, ml, privacy.
