Windows 11 – change default settings for Right-click menu

The Right-click (Context) menu option in Windows 11 has changed to a streamlined format.  To temporarily restore some of the original right-click menu settings, select “Show more options (Shift + F10 keys).

To permanently restore the prior Right-click menu in Windows 11, right-click the Start button and type Windows Terminal.

Copy the command from below, paste it into Windows Terminal Window, and press enter.

reg.exe add “HKCU\Software\Classes\CLSID\{86ca1aa0-34aa-4e8b-a509-50c905bae2a2}\InprocServer32” /f /ve

Restart your Windows 11 computer. The Right-click (Context) menu option should be set to the legacy format.
